From the Point of Sale (POS), you can search for tires
- Click on the "+" to add a new product,
- Press the "Enter" (or "Enter") key on your keyboard to go to the Description field,
- Enter your keywords (ex: 195 * 55 * 16) and press the "Enter" (or "Enter") key on your keyboard.
Explanation: Enter 195 * 65 * 15 To find all your tires whose description contains the numbers 195, 65, 15. The asterix or star "*" replaces all the characters (numbers, letters, symbols) that are between 2 words search keys.
Ex: If I search with the keywords "195*55*16", I will find "BR DRIVEGUARD 195/55RF16 BW" and all the other products with a description that contains 195, 55, 16,
Ex: If I search with the keywords "DRIV * 16", I will still find "BR DRIVEGUARD 195 / 55RF16 BW" etc ...
In the results window, double-click on the desired tire or use the check boxes to select several tires to transfer to the estimate.
- Click on the tire icon
- Use the research criteria (ex: make, model, etc...)
Note 1: In the "Size" field, you can enter "1955516" to search for all tires with a width 195, a blank 55 and a diameter 16
Note 2: The search criteria are effective only if you also enter these criteria for your tires in the inventory. (See more at the beginning of the FAQ)
- Press the "Enter" (or "Enter") key on your keyboard to start the search. - In the list of results, double-click on the desired tire or use the check boxes to select several tires to transfer to the estimate.
Notes 3:- Use the Excel import module (Main menu> Configuration> Import of Excel products) to quickly import or update your tires. - Make and model are two important fields to fill in if you wish to be able to update tire prices using these two criteria.
