In QuickBooks accounting software,
- Go to Edit / preferences / Accounting (top left),
- Company preferences (second tab, at the top),
- You will have the option to "Use Account numbers",
- If it was not checked already the bookkeeper have to assign numbers to the ones missing,
- Save.
After that, the account listing report will have numbers or you may have to select them with the customize option and check the accnt# column. (top left)
Then you can export to excel and make sure you save is as a .xls, not .xlsx
Then you'll have to manually assign which one are banks in GEM-CAR
- Goto : accounting / chart of accounts,
- Activate the check box,
- Save,
