Sometimes, things such as network instability or power outage can cause a User to stay connected to the GEM-CAR database; although GEM-CAR is not open on the User's computer. It also happens when you have GEM-CAR installed on more computers than your number of licenses for GEM-CAR. 

From the main menu, go to [Help] > [Help]:  



  • (1) Click the "Disconnect a user" button,
  • (2) Click to select the connected user (with an X under the column "Connect",
  • (3) Click the icon with the key to disconnect the user,
  • (4) Click "Yes" to confirm that you want to disconnect the station from the databases.
