From the main menu, go to "Point of Sale":

  • In the "Customer" field, enter the customer's phone number and press "ENTER" on your keyboard {fa-keyboard},
  • If the number does not exist in the system, GEM-CAR will propose you to create the client,
  • Answer "Yes" if you wish to create it now,

  • In the new window "Customer management", GEM-CAR will immediately offer you to find the customer information in the phone book (411) from the phone number entered,
    • {fa-info-circle} Some parts of North America may be excluded from commercial numbers. .
    • {fa-info-circle} Mobile numbers are not available.

  • Click "Yes" if you want to use the 411 to find the customer information, or click "No" otherwise,

  • If the customer is found, click the green checkmark {fa-check} to import the customer information, otherwise click "OK" to continue,

  • Fill in the customer information and click the disk {fa-save} to save.

  • Once back to the Point of Sale, you can enter the customer's vehicle information and click the disk {fa-save} to save.

  • You can use the Carfax or NAPA VIN decoder to find vehicle information from the "VIN" field or from the "Plate" and "State" fields in the "Vehicle Maintenance" window..
