GEM-CAR has launched version 12 from the new Head office in Montreal. GEM-CAR has invested in a 4 million dollar project which includes a 12,000 square foot expansion to build a state of the art new headquarters to support growth and create a great working environment. The latest release offers more features and new modules that complete the GEM-CAR solution.

On top of having a digital punch clock and inspection, users can now communicate more efficiently by using a built-in messaging system internally. In addition, GEM-CAR offers a new module to the used car industry. The car dealers can now use auto-populated built-in sales agreements provided by different organizations in the country such as the UCDA association.

The connectivity experience with the distributor has also been enhanced by providing a new tool where users can download parts to the estimates, validate availability and place online orders for all web sites.

Please note that some of the new great features that are integrated into GEM-CAR V12 are not compatible with Windows XP.  Microsoft stopped the support for Windows XP 5 years ago - in 2014. So far we have worked hard to make sure that the new features that were added to GEM-CAR were compatible with the old Windows XP operating system. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible. In order to enjoy all the new functions and improvements, we recommend computers with Windows 10 or purchase a Microsoft Surface 10" Tablet (available from GEM-CAR for digital inspections). We also offer a Cloud Solution.
